The FOUNDER: I am “The Outlier Mediator” with unique financial skill sets to focus on client’s real wins.

My depth & breadth of 30+ years of financial experience, coupled with my proactive VS the traditional reactive approach makes the difference for you in negotiations. I am meticulous. My primary focus is on simplifying financial complexities to help uncover financial solutions quickly, saving you thousands, often tens of thousands.

• After negotiating multiple mediations in the dissolution of my 20-year+ marriage, I took that insight, combined with my 30-year+ financial skill set, to help friends negotiate complex financial issues…long before I officially opened up my mediation practice.

• Clients are welcome with or without attorneys. I have relationships with attorneys-in large, boutique, & small firms I can refer out.

  The RIPPLE EFFECTS: Life has conflict. I literally came up with “the ripple effect” verbiage when I was navigating my own divorce I saw first-hand the enormous future implications of mediation results. How both parties respond to conflict has huge implications. My focus is to facilitate peaceful, informed negotiations-using my unique financial expertise coupled with kind, reflective listening. I calculate & present creative financial scenarious upon detail review of clients’ financials.

The MISSION & VISION: Through my experiences, my passion grew to design a mediation practice to help clients make key moves around issues & challenges I navigated-most notably that could not be undone (or so I thought) in my first mediation dissolution process. I had to go back to mediation years later-due to fraud in good faith negotiations I questioned - my concern was ignored. So, I know first hand how vital honoring good faith in mediation is to your case.

I take leveling the power imbalances & good faith very seriously.

I too, was extremely vulnerable, despite my financial skill sets, as my son was not doing well-so as a mother it deeply impacted me.

Net: It was simply too late in the game-when I found out I was spot on-and I was forced to go to court, as other party was pressured by an attorney to not settle. I bring all these key learnings & expertise to the table so parties never go unprotected.

More CERTAINTY: I intentionally do a forensic financial “deep dive” pre-mediation - while charging a Flat Fee to #1-eliminate undue stress with certainty of total cost; & #2-for more “fluid communication” vs worry over making a call/email. #3-with an end goal: to help parties flourish with creative, win/win resolutions- in half the time-by simplifying issues- via my gut insight-derived from the depth of financial knowledge.

The WHY: The dissolution of a marriage is life’s most complex transition - I walked it & am on a mission to help clients navigate this transition with less financial & emotional drain. I pivoted to this space as I discovered other mediators do not have my financial insight to serve in a dual role-and saw how I could provide unique value to clients as both their financial expert & mediator-to expediently SIMPLIFY & SYNCHRONIZE legal & financial.
